American F-16 fighters cannot compete with Russian Su-35S. This was stated by military expert Yuri Ignat.
According to him, a comprehensive approach is needed to counter the Su-35, including the use of electronic warfare equipment and ground-based air defense systems.
Today, even the F-16s are not new enough to compete with the Su-35 one-on-one in aerial combat.
The Su-35S is a multi-purpose supersonic maneuverable fighter with a controlled thrust vector of the "4++" generation. The aircraft is designed to gain air superiority by destroying unmanned and manned aircraft with guided missiles, as well as destroying ground infrastructure facilities.
