Russian specialists, together with colleagues from Belarus, have developed an innovative multispectral vision system for night driving on armored personnel carriers (APCs) and tanks. The product can be installed on any type of vehicle, said Igor Potapov, an official representative of the "NPP" company.
The complex is a case with a camera unit that is installed on the roof or hood. The system can be used on any type of vehicle — APC, tank, or KamAZ.
The operator puts on glasses weighing 130 grams and can see the road in excellent quality with the light completely turned off. There is also a separate monitor inside the car for additional control by members of the vehicle crew.
The system has already shown high efficiency and can be used in sabotage and reconnaissance activities, reconnaissance, delivery of ammunition, evacuation, as well as the movement of personnel.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Molniya boat launched Moskit cruise missiles in the Baltic Sea.
