Solaris Expands Lineup of KRS Sedans and KRX Cross-Hatchbacks

The Solaris brand (assembling analogues of popular Kia and Hyundai models) has expanded its lineup of KRS sedans and KRX cross-hatchbacks for 2025. Now, a six-speed manual transmission is available in the Comfort and Luxe AV trims.

The introduction of a "manual" transmission in the base Comfort trim has allowed for lower starting prices. The price for the KRS sedan now starts from 2,080,000 rubles, and the cost of the KRX cross-hatchback starts from 2,181,000 rubles.

The price range for the KRS sedan is from 2,080,000 to 2,485,000 rubles, and for the KRX cross-hatchback — from 2,181,000 to 2,586,000 rubles. The Luxe AV trim with a "manual" transmission occupies a middle position in the lineup. The sedan costs 2,160,000 rubles, and the cross-hatchback — 2,261,000 rubles.

Versions with an automatic transmission are 100,000 rubles more expensive, while the price of the KRX with an "automatic" transmission in the Prestige trim has decreased by 18,000 rubles, to 2,448,000 rubles.

Solaris KRS and KRX models are renamed Kia Rio and Kia Rio X, respectively. Both cars are equipped with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 123 hp, working in tandem with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the anniversary 20,000th Solaris rolled off the assembly line of the AGR plant.
