UAZ will begin installing automatic transmissions on "Patriot" series vehicles starting in 2026. This was announced by the manufacturer's CEO, Alexey Spirin.
According to him, the introduction of any unit is a rather lengthy process that requires a scrupulous approach. The process of selecting a transmission that meets certain technical characteristics and layout solutions is only half the battle.
It is still necessary to combine the units, adapt, test, and certify them, and this takes time. We are now fully focused primarily on updating the model range. Let's get back to the automatic transmission issue later, after the launch of the planned updates in 2025.
Earlier www1.ru reported that "Bukhanka" is selling better than all other UAZ cars.
