Prices for new UAZ cars in 2024 increased by 6% (lower than the official inflation data in Russia). This was announced by Alexey Spirin, General Director of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant.
We strive to actively reduce our own costs so as not to pass these costs on to the consumer. I can say with confidence that at the moment UAZ remains the most affordable product in its segment.
The new UAZ "Profi" with diesel engines will be slightly more expensive than gasoline versions. However, their cost will be lower than that of their closest competitors. The advantages of diesel models will compensate for the difference in price compared to gasoline versions in about one and a half to two years of operation.
The UAZ "Patriot" SUV will also receive a diesel engine, a new electromechanical transfer case, LED optics, an updated multimedia system and an updated interior. UAZ predicts that the diesel "Patriot" will account for 15–20% of total sales.
