In Anapa, artificial intelligence helps in monitoring drivers who are deprived of the right to drive. This refers to the system of NtechLab (strategic partner of the state corporation "Rostec"), which operates on the basis of a hardware and software complex (PAC).
It consists of a camera and a laptop with software from NtechLab. The device effectively functions even in poor visibility conditions and while driving.
The PAC uploads a database containing about 35 million license plates. AI identifies which cars should not be on the roads of Russia, due to the fact that their owners were deprived of the right to drive. A notification appears on the laptop screen that the car needs to be stopped. Notifications are also sent via Telegram-bot.
The new system promises to improve road safety and reduce the number of offenses. It is planned to increase the number of crews equipped with PACs in the near future, as well as extend this experience to Sochi.
