The paint complex at the former Experimental Industrial Production (OPP) of AvtoVAZ has resumed operation after being idle since 2016.
Since the summer of 2024, VIS-Avto has been operating at the OPP facilities, producing semi-frame trucks and Niva Legend Bronto models.
The main difference from the standard AvtoVAZ painting technology is the application of KShM mastic to the cataphoretic primer, whereas on the main assembly line, the mastic is applied after the body primer.
The painting line for the OPP was equipped by the German company Eisenmann more than 20 years ago. Now it has been restarted for the needs of VIS-Avto, which will expand the volume of products.
