The Crew-10 team, together with SpaceX and NASA, successfully conducted a full rehearsal of all stages that will take place on the day of the new mission launch.
Preparation for the launch included checking all systems of the Dragon spacecraft, testing equipment, and practicing the crew's actions.
The Crew-10 mission includes four people: Anne McClain — Mission Commander, NASA astronaut; Nicole Ayers — Pilot, NASA astronaut; Takuya Onishi — Mission Specialist, JAXA astronaut (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency); Kirill Peskov — Mission Specialist, Roscosmos cosmonaut.
The crew will travel to the International Space Station on the Dragon spacecraft from SpaceX on March 13 at 02:49 Moscow time to conduct scientific research and ensure the return of astronauts delayed in orbit.
Kirill Peskov was recognized as fit for space flight in July 2024. He then became the backup for Russian cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov, who went to the ISS as part of the Crew-9 mission in August 2024.
