Indian factories producing the Russian Su-30MKI fighter jet may begin production of the fifth-generation Su-57E fighter in a short time if the country's authorities make a positive decision on this issue. This was reported by Rosoboronexport.
In the event of a positive decision by the Indian side, production of the Russian 5th generation Su-57E fighter jet may begin in a short time at the factories where the Su-30MKI fighter jet is currently manufactured.
The exporting company added that they are ready to start a program to modernize the Su-30MKI fighter fleet of the Indian Air Force, involving local industry enterprises in this work.
The increase in combat capabilities of the Su-30MKI can be achieved by improving onboard equipment systems and integrating new models of airborne weapons.
The Su-57 is a fifth-generation fighter that has proven its effectiveness in countering Western air defense systems in real combat conditions. The aircraft is characterized by low radar visibility and is capable of using a wide range of guided high-precision weapons.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the modernized BMP-2M surpassed the American Bradley in firing range by two times.
