A new lane will appear at the junctions from the M-4 "Don" highway to the outer and inner sides of the Moscow Ring Road due to remarking. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow Department of Transport.
Now traffic on the highway will be organized in two lanes. Travel time on sections will be reduced from 5–10 to 1–3 minutes.
In 2025, TsODD specialists plan to implement a large-scale project to remark the interchange at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road, M-4 "Don" and Lipetskaya Street. The initiative provides for 10 changes.
A set of improvements has been underway near the interchange as part of TsODD remarking projects since last year. 3 changes have already been made, and 7 more are planned for this year.
In 2025, it is also planned to implement about 100 projects to remark Moscow roads, including adding lanes and U-turns on key highways with heavy traffic (Garden Ring, Third Transport Ring and Moscow Ring Road).
Earlier www1.ru reported that a new section of the M-12 "Vostok" highway is planned to open at the end of June this year.
