Rosatom has developed a biofabricator for growing human tissues

Rector of MEPhI Shevchenko: We hope that science will help defeat incurable diseases

The Rosatom State Corporation and MEPhI have opened a bioprinting laboratory. Its employees will grow biocompatible equivalents of blood vessels from patients' cells, the corporation's press service reported.

The central equipment of the laboratory is a biofabricator developed by Rosatom scientists. It can be used to simulate tissue growth processes at the micro level.
