Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that on March 8, 2025, all street parking in the city will be free, including zones with high tariffs (380, 450 and 600 rubles/hour) and dynamic pricing.
The exception is capital parkings with barriers – they will continue to operate in the usual paid mode.
Authorities remind that parking is free in Moscow on Sundays and official holidays. In 2025, Muscovites will have 72 days of free parking: 22 holidays and 50 Sundays. However, usually parking remains paid on streets with high tariffs on Sundays, but an exception has been made for March 8.
