The developer and manufacturer of drones "Transport of the Future" will launch an experiment in the Samara region to deliver goods by drones C-80. This was reported in the company's press service.
The General Director of "Transport of the Future" Yuri Kozarenko emphasized that the Samara region is a pilot site. Here they will work out a delivery scheme, which they subsequently want to scale to the whole of Russia.
Our drone delivery C-80 has received a certificate of airworthiness and can be used for flights in the city.
Drones will deliver parcels to parcel lockers, from where recipients can pick them up. Drone ports will be installed for the maintenance of UAVs.
Kazarenko is confident that this project has great prospects. That is why the company plans to invest about 5.6 billion rubles in the production of parcel lockers, drone ports and logistics drones.
