Drone Explored the Mysteries of the Blue Lake in the Shulgan-Tash Cave in Bashkiria

Scientists plan to uncover the underwater secrets of the unique reservoir using UAVs

A unique expedition to explore the Blue Lake using an unmanned aerial vehicle has started in the Burzyan district of Bashkiria. The drone was created by Ufa engineer Yaroslav Litvinov.

The lake is located in the Shulgan-Tash cave. Scientists lowered an unmanned aerial vehicle there, which should help in studying underwater areas inaccessible due to the difficult terrain.

The drone can stay underwater for an unlimited time. It was connected to generators via a 200-meter cable. The best diver in Russia, Alexander Khizhnyak, also participated in the UAV's immersion. He monitored the drone's movement and gave advice to the operator.

Khizhnyak noted that the use of drones significantly increases the safety of research, allowing to avoid tragedies that have already occurred in the past.

The expedition promises to be long-term, and its success depends on modern technologies and the enthusiasm of researchers. They want to create a unified map of Shulgan-Tash.
