"Unprecedentedly High": The Cost of Maintaining a New Lada Vesta in a Taxi Fleet Revealed

40 million rubles spent on 100 cars in three years

Evgeny Ermolaev, CEO of Next taxi fleet, announced the high costs of Lada Vesta cars used by the company for three years.

According to him, the monthly maintenance of a car averaged 33,950 rubles, excluding leasing payments and OSAGO.

This is unprecedentedly high for a new car that should not require such maintenance costs. And this is taking into account that these cars were idle for an average of 30%, plus the cost of spare parts is an order of magnitude higher than for Korean cars. That is, the total cost of these 100 Lada Vesta cars amounted to more than 40 million rubles in three years.

Earlier it became known that about 100 thousand Lada Vesta cars had accumulated in dealers' warehouses. The cars were assembled for car parks, but they turned out to be unnecessary for them.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the newest Lada Iskra went on the road, footage of tests in real conditions under load appeared.
