The Belarusian Automobile Plant plans to supply 11 new model BELAZ-7513T mining dump trucks to one of the leading Russian iron ore enterprises, Olkon. It is part of the Severstal company.
11 mining dump trucks of the latest model BELAZ-7513T with a payload capacity of up to 136 tons will soon join the fleet of Olkon, one of the leading iron ore enterprises in Russia.
Five vehicles have already been delivered to the Murmansk region. Their assembly has begun at the Olenegorsk Mining and Processing Plant and at the site of Komsomolskoye Lake. It is planned to send six more dump trucks in March-April. After installation, the equipment will be run-in, tested under load and put into operation.
BELAZ-7513T are powerful and modern dump trucks that have been modernized. They are the top model in the BELAZ-7513 series and are designed for transporting rock mass.
These dump trucks are equipped with a new traction generator and modern AC-AC electric motors. They also have an electromechanical transmission control cabinet, which was developed and manufactured at the BELAZ plant itself.
Earlier, BelAZ presented two new mining dump trucks, which were developed with concern for the environment. One of them is the BELAZ-7513E with a payload capacity of 120 tons, which runs on electricity. The second is the BELAZ-7513R, capable of carrying a record 130 tons, equipped with an engine that runs on natural gas.
