The company "MB Rus" (formerly the representative of Mercedes-Benz in Russia) will begin production of Foton cars. This was announced by Alexander Parshutin, Foton Brand Director at JSC "MB Rus".
Two new products have already been presented in Russia - a spacious mobile catering complex and a refrigerator, created on the basis of Foton Toano.
The mobile catering complex will go on sale this year. It includes a driver's cab and a working compartment, separated by a partition with a sliding door with an electric drive.
Inside, there is an autonomous air heater connected to the fuel system and a 220 W rooftop air conditioner. The equipment includes refrigerated cabinets with a temperature regime from +5 to -18 °C, a microwave oven, a coffee machine, a thermal food warmer and a sink. The furniture is made of stainless steel and moisture-resistant chipboard. The warranty period is two years.
The refrigerator based on Foton Toano has a gross weight of 3.5 tons and is capable of transporting up to 760 kg of cargo. It supports a temperature range from -10 to +12 °C with a cargo compartment volume of 10 cubic meters. The compartment is equipped with FR8 class thermal insulation, made of sandwich panels to protect against the cold. The warranty on the refrigerator is three years or 150,000 km of mileage.
