The Lada Vesta car may become cheaper in Russia due to 100 thousand cars accumulated in warehouses, Mash Telegram channel reported.
The cars were specially accumulated for taxi fleets, but in the end they turned out to be unnecessary for them. The reserves were prepared for the draft law "On Domestic Taxis", within the framework of which foreign economy-class cars in taxis were planned to be replaced with brand new Lada Vesta.
However, due to the sharp increase in tariffs and the dismissal of thousands of drivers, the legislative initiative is pending consideration in the State Duma. Now AvtoVAZ intends to start selling Vesta with a 3% discount in order to combat surpluses.
Earlier www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ will equip the legendary Lada Granta with completely new options, the full list of improvements has become known.
