«Мегафон» и Yota отменили роуминг в Крыму и Севастополе с 28 февраля

Now communication can be paid for under the standard terms of tariffs

From February 28, Megafon and Yota canceled roaming in Crimea and Sevastopol. Payment for communication services will be carried out under the standard terms of tariffs.

From today, while subscribers are on the peninsula, minutes, SMS and gigabytes are spent from the package and paid for under the standard terms of the tariff plan.
Federal Antimonopoly Service

Earlier, Megafon sent a letter to the Federal Antimonopoly Service in which it announced the execution of the order to cancel the surcharge for communication services in Crimea and Sevastopol no later than February 28, 2025. The Antimonopoly Service considered this period technically justified.

Yota also announced its decision to voluntarily abandon roaming on the peninsula within the same time frame.
