The Russian military will receive a thousand Burevestnik kamikaze drones within a month. The drone is capable of traveling up to 12 km and carrying up to 3.5 kg. Manufacturers are constantly striving to modernize the product to meet the changing requirements of modern combat operations.
Burevestnik was developed by Samara inventors with the support of the Kulibin Club. The production of the product uses many domestic components. The developers set themselves the goal of completely localizing production.
The idea is that the drone consists entirely of Russian components, frames, batteries, propellers are already completely ours. We are now negotiating the purchase of domestic motors, control receivers and flight controllers.
Manufacturers are developing additional innovative systems, including a target auto-capture system. They will allow the drone to be guided to the target in automatic mode.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Forpost-RU drone will receive small-sized radars for guiding Kalibrs and loitering munitions.
