The publication "Journal Auto.ru" published the first test of the updated Lada Largus, which is now being produced in Izhevsk.
Externally, the new product is almost indistinguishable from the previous version assembled in Togliatti: the welding and painting are done neatly, the panels are well fitted. However, there were some shortcomings: the mirror adjustment joystick, inherited from French models, turned out to be not only inconveniently located under the handbrake, but also broken in the test car.
In the basic configuration, the Largus is now not equipped with an audio system at all, and in the top configuration it received a touch screen EnjoY Pro instead of the old Renault multimedia system. At the same time, the model has lost a number of useful options: the ceiling shelf, third-row windows, fog lights, heated steering wheel and rear seats, as well as USB ports for passengers have disappeared.
The dynamics and handling of the Largus remained the same, but during the test, the reviewers were seriously alarmed by the operation of the brakes. On the frozen asphalt, during sudden braking, the ABS worked strangely: there was a crackling sound, and the car almost stopped slowing down, as if it was sliding on ice - although the surface did not look slippery.
