Progress MS-30 to Deliver New Orlan-MKS Spacesuit No. 6 to the ISS

Roscosmos has completed the general assembly of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket with the Progress MS-30 cargo ship. This was reported by the state corporation's press service.

The launch of Progress MS-30 is scheduled for February 28 at 00:24 Moscow time.

Progress MS-30 is scheduled to deliver 2,599 kg of cargo, including 1,179 kg of equipment, 950 kg of fuel for refueling the station, 420 kg of drinking water for the cosmonauts, and 50 kg of nitrogen to replenish the ISS atmosphere. Among the cargo is a new Orlan-MKS spacesuit No. 6 to support cosmonaut spacewalks under the Russian program.

Currently, the cosmonauts on the station are using Orlan-MKS spacesuits No. 4 and No. 5.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Progress MS-30 space truck is being transported to Baikonur.
