Russian airlines will continue to purchase domestic aircraft even if foreign ones return

Manturov: Foreign companies will not be able to "just take and return" to Russia

Russian airlines, even if foreign aircraft supplies are restored, will prioritize the purchase of domestic aircraft. This statement was made by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Denis Manturov.

We will definitely find a solution, a compromise, to build relationships in such a way that, first of all, Russian airlines, of course, purchase Russian aircraft as they become available after certification.
Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia

Commenting on the possible return of Boeing aircraft to the Russian market, he noted that so far "no one has applied to the Russian government with such a request." However, according to him, Russia is ready to consider the possibility of resuming the supply of titanium products to Boeing if it shows interest.

Speaking about the automotive industry, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that "it will no longer be possible to just take and return as they simply took and left."

Manturov also noted that if major retail brands decide to return to the Russian market, they will be required to open their stores, including in the new regions of the country.

We have a unified territory of the Russian Federation with uniform rules and approaches. Therefore, when placing their divisions, they must keep in mind that there should be no gaps.
