Tanker "Elnia" returned from a long sea voyage to the Baltic Fleet base

During the voyage, the Project 160 ship traveled approximately 18,000 nautical miles

The sea tanker "Elnia" of Project 160 of the Baltic Fleet arrived at the main base of the fleet in Baltiysk, Kaliningrad Region, after completing tasks of a long sea voyage. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Since the summer of 2024, the Baltic Fleet tanker has been providing material resources to ships of the permanent operational formation of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean Sea.

The press service noted that during the long sea voyage, the crew traveled approximately 18,000 nautical miles.

The tanker conducted approximately 40 refuelings of ships and other forces of the Navy formation, transferring more than 7 thousand tons of fuel, oil, water and other materials. During the voyage, the tanker visited the ports of Syria, Algeria and Cuba.
