The missiles of the Russian "Cornet" anti-tank complex, equipped with a non-contact target sensor, have already hit helicopters and heavy drones such as "Baba Yaga". This was reported by the Rostec State Corporation.
The company emphasized that the complex was specially modified to engage helicopters and drones.
It also hits Starlink communication towers, unmanned and landing craft.
"Cornet" is also designed to engage various armored vehicles, including tanks with dynamic protection (DZ). The basic version of the ATGM missile is capable of penetrating up to 1000 millimeters of armor behind DZ. The ammunition is controlled by a laser beam.
Characteristics of the "Cornet-E" ATGM:
- Control system - semi-automatic, by laser beam
- Firing range - up to 5500 m during the day and up to 4500 m at night
- Armor penetration - 1000-1200 mm
- Missile caliber - 152 mm
- Warhead type - cumulative tandem and high-explosive
- Launcher weight - 26 kg
