Lithium Demand in Russia May Decrease

Ministry of Industry and Trade to revise production plans due to reduced electric vehicle output

Lithium demand in Russia will decrease due to a reduction in electric vehicle production. This scenario is being considered by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Projected lithium demand by 2028 may be lower than the target level of 10,000 tons. Current consumption is only 1,000 tons.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade told reporters that the current target of 10,000 tons may be revised based on new data from the industry and investors.

After verifying the new data, we will make adjustments to the development strategy of the metallurgical complex.
