Foreigners are showing interest in the latest Russian Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile system. This was announced to journalists by Alexander Mikheev, head of Rosoboronexport, at the IDEX-2025 international exhibition in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
According to him, anyone who is involved in defense or is involved in the production of any weapons or military equipment is always interested in what happened and what Russia has come up with.
And since such decisions were made on the use of "Oreshnik", that's the way it should be. Many countries also have certain capabilities, not only Russia.
According to the "Explain.rf" portal, the maximum range of "Oreshnik" is 5,500 km. The missile is capable of carrying a warhead weighing up to 1.5 tons and developing a speed of up to 10 Mach (about 12.4 thousand km/h). Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that none of the existing missile defense systems is capable of shooting down "Oreshnik".
Earlier www1.ru wrote that the latest T-90MS tank has received multi-level protection against kamikaze drones and RPGs.
