Foreigners are showing interest in Russia's latest Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile system. This was announced to journalists by Alexander Mikheev, head of Rosoboronexport, at the IDEX-2025 international exhibition in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
According to him, anyone involved in defense or participating in the production of any weapons or military equipment is always interested in what happened and what Russia has come up with.
And since such decisions were made regarding the use of Oreshnik, then so be it. Many countries also have certain capabilities, not just Russia.
According to the "Объясняем.рф" portal, the maximum range of "Oreshnik" is 5,500 km. The missile is capable of carrying a warhead weighing up to 1.5 tons and developing a speed of up to 10 Mach (about 12.4 thousand km/h). Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that none of the existing anti-missile systems is capable of shooting down "Oreshnik".
