The Indian side is considering the possibility of organizing the production of fifth-generation Su-57 fighters on its territory. This was announced by Dmitry Shugaev, Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC).
They are considering the issue in any case.
The Su-57 fighter made its first test flight at the Aero India 2025 international arms exhibition on February 10.
Earlier it became known that Algeria will be the first foreign buyer of the Su-57. By the end of 2027, Russia will transfer 12 fifth-generation combat aircraft to the republic.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia offered India to buy Ka-226T helicopters with the latest VK-650V engine.
