The latest Pantsir-SDM-E short-range anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) can be installed on the roofs of buildings without a specially prepared site. This was reported by Rosoboronexport.
The complex is placed on the roofs of buildings or a concrete slab — no carefully prepared site is required.
The system is designed to protect important objects and people from all types of air threats. New missiles for it are optimized for the "efficiency-cost" parameter and perfectly cope even with quadcopters. Their small size allows up to 48 units to be loaded into one ammunition load. Shoots in a volley.
