The first batch of 14 Lada Granta cars, painted in red metallic enamel "Flamenco", rolled off the AvtoVAZ assembly line on February 11. This was reported by the insider VKontakte public Avtograd.
Two trial copies in this color scheme were released in January. The newest Lada Iskra model was previously presented to the President of Russia in the "Flamenco" color. Granta and Iskra bodies are painted on the same line.
Earlier, AvtoVAZ reported that basic Lada Granta models are still available for purchase, but their number is limited. The company explained that there are no cars of these models in showrooms due to low demand.
