The Avtostat resource provided statistics on the average age of the car fleet in Russia. It turned out that as of January 1, 2023, the average age of cars in the Russian Federation is 14.7 years.
The youngest car fleet in Russia is in the Volga Federal District (13.2 years) and the Central Federal District (13.3 years). In the Ural Federal District, the average age of passenger cars is 13.9 years, and in the North-Western District – 14 years.
The anti-record is in the Far Eastern Federal District. There, the average age of cars is 21.4 years.
