Yekaterinburg-based manufacturer "Ural" presented the Diversity jamming-resistant UAV control unit. Pavel Kleshnin, Director of Development and Development at the company, said that specialists take into account the real combat experience of the military when manufacturing products.
We try to communicate with the soldiers and collect their recommendations. The enemy began to heavily jam radio communications, disrupting the drone control process. It was necessary to quickly solve this problem, and we found a solution.
Kleshnin explained that most unmanned vehicles mainly have one or two radio signal frequencies for control.
We decided to use six frequencies. This is a kind of equipment for their variable adjustment. To jam a system that, in the event of interference, switches between six frequencies, requires an entire truckload of electronic warfare equipment.
