The "Ruselectronics" holding (part of Rostec) has developed a module for transmitting telematics information from equipment used in the Far North and remote areas.
The tracker operates stably at temperatures from +50 to -60 degrees Celsius. The device can be installed on construction, logging, road, or railway equipment, all-terrain vehicles, cars, mobile electrical laboratories, or other machines. In addition, the product can be used in the open sea, for example, on drilling platforms or ships.
The device connects to the "Gonets" communication system spacecraft and allows sending and receiving data to monitoring centers with a specified frequency in autonomous mode. Serial production will begin at the end of this year.
The module provides data transmission up to 9.6 Kbps in the "Earth-space" channel and up to 19.2 Kbps in the "space-Earth" channel. The built-in GLONASS/GPS receiver is responsible for positioning.
