The Russian anti-aircraft artillery complex 2S38 "Derivation-PVO" could become a nightmare for all types of aerial targets on the line of battle contact. This was reported by the Polish publication Interia.
Journalists noted that the complex on the chassis of a floating infantry fighting vehicle BMP-3 is equipped with a remotely controlled combat module with an automatic 57 mm cannon. The rate of fire of the gun is 120 rounds per minute.
With deadly accuracy, it hurls projectiles at everything: from low-flying helicopters and cruise missiles to loitering munitions and drones.
"Derivation-PVO" is equipped with an optoelectronic sighting system that works without unmasking radiation. Therefore, the complex cannot be hit by anti-radar missiles that are guided by emitted radio signals.
Industrial Director of the Rostec State Corporation's cluster of conventional weapons, Bekhan Ozdoev, noted that the company is doing everything possible to accelerate the delivery of "Derivation-PVO" to the front.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that protective hangars for military aircraft were spotted on the Russian Aerospace Forces airbase online.
