Росатом запускает мощный центр обработки данных в Нижегородской области

New Data Center with 1000 Racks Will Eliminate Service Shortage for Critical Infrastructure

The Rosatom State Corporation intends to open a data processing center (DPC) in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. It will include 1000 racks. The state corporation's project will solve the problem of service shortages for systemically important enterprises and critical information infrastructure (CII) facilities. Its launch will accelerate the introduction of advanced technologies, including AI.

The Nizhny Novgorod Region is a key region for the state corporation. More than 30 enterprises of the nuclear industry operate in it. The regional government actively cooperates with Rosatom in the field of digitalization and high technologies.

The corporation is developing a concept for creating an office and scientific center for the development of radio-electronic products. It will house modern R&D laboratories. The center will become a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between scientists, designers, and engineers.

This will allow us to develop high-tech products with an emphasis on creating components and systems for critical infrastructure, which will ensure the reliability and stability of these systems
Evgeny Abakumov, Director of Information Infrastructure at the Corporation
