A Soyuz-2.1v carrier rocket with spacecraft for the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Russia was launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. This was reported by the press service of the military department.
On February 5, 2025, from the Plesetsk cosmodrome (Arkhangelsk region), combat crews of the space forces of the Aerospace Forces launched a light-class Soyuz-2.1v carrier rocket with spacecraft in the interests of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
The day before, on February 4, five rocket launches wereplanned worldwide - a new record for the space industry.
