Rosseti to Build a Power Center in Siberia for the Largest Cheese Factory

An automation system and modern equipment will ensure the uninterrupted operation of the factory

Rosseti has started construction of a 110 kV power center in the Novosibirsk Region, which will supply energy to the new enterprise of the Ekoniva dairy company. The center will supply up to 14.1 MW of power to the consumer.

The substation will be equipped with two 16 MVA power transformers, microprocessor-based protection systems, gas-insulated and vacuum switching equipment, as well as modern automation tools. Rosseti Novosibirsk's investments will exceed 730 million rubles.

The new factory will become one of the largest cheese producers in Siberia and will fully meet Russia's needs for demineralized whey, the main ingredient for dry baby food. The enterprise will process more than 1.1 thousand tons of milk per day and produce up to 35 thousand tons of semi-hard and hard cheeses per year.
