Since the beginning of the year, Russian telecommunications equipment manufacturers have announced price increases for their products. The main reasons for this are: 15% increase in component prices, difficulties in supply chains, increase in the key rate, and exchange rate fluctuations.
Equipment prices have increased by 10–30%. Eltex notified its clients of a 20% price increase from January 21, citing rising component costs and more complex logistics.
The manufacturer RDP.ru reported an average price increase of 30% due to the increased cost of hardware platforms and the transition to domestic software analogs. Sergey Gusakov, General Director of Vector Technology, said that the company raised prices by an average of less than 10% due to inflation and exchange rate changes. Fplus plans to raise prices on a case-by-case basis, in response to changes in the market situation.
Despite the difficulties, experts do not expect a sharp increase in prices for telecom equipment this year. Manufacturers are striving to adapt to the new conditions by offering more affordable product lines without losing functionality.
