R&D company "Russian Telecommunication Technologies" has launched a production line for telecommunications equipment with a capacity of 1 million units per year at the Avangard plant in St. Petersburg.
R&D company "Russian Telecommunication Technologies" is a joint venture of Rostelecom, Avangard Group and Qtech Group. The company will produce various equipment, including Wi-Fi routers, video surveillance systems, IP intercoms, and switches. Total investment in production amounted to more than 600 million rubles.
Irina Spitsyna, General Director of the joint venture, said that the products will be manufactured under the RTT's own brand, and equipment will also be produced to order from partners. The main customer for the products will be Rostelecom. In case of high demand, the company plans to scale up its capacity.
