NPO "Russian Telecommunication Technologies" has launched a production line at the base of the "Avangard" factory in St. Petersburg. The plant has a capacity to produce 1 million telecommunications equipment units per year.
NPO "Russian Telecommunication Technologies" is a joint enterprise of "Rostelecom", GC "Avangard" and GC "Kyutek". It will produce a variety of equipment, including Wi-Fi routers, surveillance systems, IP door phones, switches. Total investment in production was over 600 million rubles.
The CEO of the joint venture, Irina Spitsyna, reported that the products will be released under the RTT brand, and equipment will also be produced to order for partners. The main customer for the products will be Rostelecom. In case of high demand, the company plans to scale up its capacities.
