Eurasian Times: Российские военные используют «матку» дронов для доставки ударных БПЛА

Drone Carrier Also Functions as a Signal Repeater

Russian Armed Forces personnel have begun to use drones more frequently to transport FPV drones to the drop-off point. With the help of the so-called "mother" of drones, the range of strike UAVs can be increased many times over. This is according to the publication Eurasian Times.

Military analyst Vijayner Thakur stated that the range of FPV drones averages 10 km. But if a drone repeater is used, it doubles.

According to Eurasian Times, the Russian Armed Forces first used the "mother" of drones in September 2024. The enemy detected Russian FPV drones at a distance of 40 km from the front line.

In addition to delivering strike UAVs, the drone carrier conducted reconnaissance and also functioned as a signal repeater. This tactic proved to be very effective.

"Admiral" from "Svyaz SpetsZashchita"

In October 2024, the company "Svyaz SpetsZashchita" presented the "Admiral" UAV for transporting "Boets-7" reconnaissance drones. The drone carrier can stay in the air for up to 4 hours and fly distances of up to 400 km. It reaches speeds of up to 120 km/h.
