A prototype of the Lada Niva Swagman SUV is up for sale in Australia. The car was developed by the Australian distributor of AvtoVAZ in 1996 to participate in promotional events and exhibitions in order to attract attention to the regular Lada Niva.
The right-hand drive SUV received massive bumpers, enlarged wheel arches, sill extensions and a spoiler on the roof. The car stands on 17-inch alloy wheels. Initially, the Niva Swagman was green, but it was repainted red.
The car's interior features a CD player, a sports steering wheel, leather seats, central locking, power windows and air conditioning. Under the hood, the prototype has a boosted 1.7-liter engine with 113 hp.
The car is offered for 8,500 Australian dollars or 5,350 US dollars (approximately 530 thousand rubles).
