«SverdNIIkhimmash» (part of Rosatom State Corporation) has developed two granulators - for a robotic line and for the manufacture of fuel pellets. The new equipment is necessary for the production of uranium-plutonium fuel. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.
The design of our granulator was developed for maintenance by robotic technological complexes, which provides for the absence of manual operations for installing and dismantling equipment, which allows limiting the presence of working personnel in the working area in full compliance with the requirements of modern automated production.
The use of new granulators is not limited to nuclear energy. They can also be used in industry, pharmaceuticals and construction. The equipment is suitable for preparing various powders for 3D printing technologies.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Rosatom completed construction and installation works at the Rooppur NPP in Bangladesh.
