The Belgee S50 sedan, built on the Geely Emgrand platform, is preparing to enter the Russian market. Sales are expected to begin no earlier than the second quarter of 2025. In Belarus, this model has been available since the end of 2024.
The Belgee S50 was first presented at the "Motor Show 2024" in Minsk in October last year. Then, the General Director of CJSC "BelGee" Gennady Svidersky announced that mass production of these sedans would begin in the near future.
In November 2024, the first S50 cars appeared in Belarusian dealerships. The cost of this model ranges from 57.6 to 67.8 thousand Belarusian rubles, which is equivalent to 1.75–2.1 million Russian rubles. The price of the Belgee S50 in Belarus is fully consistent with the cost of the Geely Emgrand for the local market.
It is not yet known how much dealers will ask for the S50 sedan from Belgee in Russia. In our market, the cost of current Geely Emgrand models ranges from 2,180,000 to 2,660,000 rubles.
In terms of its technical parameters, the Belgee S50 is fully consistent with the Geely Emgrand model, which is familiar to Russian car enthusiasts. Its dimensions are: 4638 mm in length, 1822 mm in width and 1460 mm in height, and the wheelbase is 2650 mm.
The ground clearance of this sedan is only 122 mm. The trunk volume is 500 liters.
The Belgee S50 is equipped with a 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 122 horsepower. It is paired with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a classic 6-speed "automatic". The S50 is a front-wheel drive sedan capable of reaching a top speed of 175 km/h.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the level of localization of production of electric vehicles developed at the BelGee plant reached 70%. We are talking about the Belgee EX50 model, created on the basis of the Geely Coolray car.
