The Kaluga-based "Elmat" plant plans to become a supplier of automotive components for major automakers such as AvtoVAZ and Haval.
Currently, the company is in negotiations with these companies. In particular, the possibility of the plant's participation in the localization of the Haval M6 model, which will begin assembly in February at the Kaluga plant "Automotive Technologies", is being discussed.
"Elmat" specializes in the production of furniture and furniture fittings. The company participates in national projects aimed at improving labor productivity and supporting employment.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Haval officially confirmed the start of assembly of M6 crossovers near Kaluga.
