The corvettes "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" and "Gromky" (project 20380) made their first control exit to the sea in 2025. The maneuvers were carried out to improve the skills of combat crews, the Pacific Fleet press service reported.
The exercises took place in the Peter the Great Bay in Primorye. Sailors repelled attacks by unmanned (BEC) ships and UAVs of a mock enemy. The corvette crews practiced interaction as part of a strike group and received target guidance from Ka-27M helicopters.
The press service of the Pacific Fleet added that the sea tanker "Pechenga" also participated in the exercises. The ship's crew replenished the ships' supplies by traverse and wake methods.
