Roskomnadzor plans to create and develop the Unified Radio Frequency Spectrum Monitoring System (ESM RFS) between 2025 and 2027. The new development is designed to monitor the blocking of prohibited resources and automate radio control processes.
The project includes adapting the system to various types of equipment and interaction protocols. This will improve radio frequency spectrum management.
In 2021, Roskomnadzor already held a tender to implement a similar project, but the idea was not realized. In December 2024, a new tender will begin for the development of technical documentation and system certification. Roskomnadzor also plans to improve algorithms for detecting "extraneous and illegal signals" in the radio frequency spectrum.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Roskomnadzor intends to control all attempts by Russians to bypass the blocking of prohibited sites.
