The Russian Supercam S350 reconnaissance drone has been integrated into a unified reconnaissance system, which has significantly accelerated the process of information transfer. The drone can also be used for targeting and fire adjustment, said Ekaterina Zgirovskaya, a representative of the manufacturing company "Unmanned Systems".
One of the main improvements that has happened with Supercam is that it has been integrated into a unified tactical-level reconnaissance system. Information from it goes directly to the soldiers. This speeds up the process of target detection, decision-making, and target engagement.
Initially, the civilian drone interested the Russian Ministry of Defense with its camera with a resolution of up to 60 megapixels with the possibility of installation on a stabilized platform in azimuth. Subsequently, the drone was also appreciated for its silence and flight altitude.
