In 2025, the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) will launch a project to modernize the production facilities of St. Petersburg's oldest shipyard, the "Admiralty Shipyards."
The work will take about five years and will allow the shipyard to build several Aframax tankers simultaneously, designed for transporting oil, including along the Northern Sea Route.
The total investment in the project is estimated at approximately 15 billion rubles. It is planned to use credit and own funds of the shipyard as sources of financing.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that "Admiralty Shipyards" is building the scientific and expedition vessel "Ivan Frolov" for the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring.
