Specialists of the Kaluga Automobile Electrical Equipment Plant (KZAE) have developed a new windshield wiper system for AvtoVAZ cars. The invention brought KZAE a large grant from the Center for Engineering and Innovation Support. This was written in his Telegram channel by the head of the region, Vladislav Shapsha.
The Kaluga company is among the 11 winners of the grant competition of the Center for Engineering and Innovation Support. The Kaluga Automobile Electrical Equipment Plant will receive support in the amount of 250 million rubles. KZAE presented a project for a new car windshield cleaning system for AvtoVAZ to the competition. The program of "growing" technological companies to meet the requirements of large Russian corporations allows increasing revenue from the implementation of new projects and increasing the volume of import substitution.
Shapsha noted that KZAE was supported in this project by the Agency for Innovative Development of the Kaluga Region.
The Kaluga Automobile Electrical Equipment Plant produces more than 300 types of products for the needs of the Russian automotive industry: from windshield wipers and gear motors to sensors and energy components. The plant is also engaged in the mechanical processing of shafts, axles, hinges and bushings made of steel rods, cold stamping of parts, robotic welding, and electroplating.
