Chelyabinsk State University (ChelSU) will create a method for the complex processing of dispersed manganese ore, which is formed during the production of ferroalloys at the Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Plant (ChEMK). This was reported in the press service of the enterprise.
A working group has been created to address issues related to personnel training and the implementation of research and development work.
Experts will analyze data from automatic emission monitoring systems installed on ChEMK's pipes. This will allow determining the optimal operating mode of smelting furnaces and improve the environmental efficiency of production.
Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Plant is the largest producer of ferroalloys in Russia. It includes the Vladivostok branch "Vladprom" (port services for storage and transshipment), OSP "Mining Administration" (chromium ore mining) and the Intinsky section "Manganese Komi" (geological works).
Earlier www1.ru reported that in Yekaterinburg they optimized the processing of plastic using radiation.
